Bianca and Sam’s wedding exuded a vibrant, joyful, and energetic mood. Their love for Puglia’s vivid and bold charm perfectly complemented their own spirited personalities. They aimed to encapsulate the region’s bold essence in every facet of their wedding, from the décor to the attire. ‘La Dolce Vita’ was the overarching theme, a celebration of love in its most radiant form.

The welcome event embraced the theme of ‘Spaghetti Disco,’ a nostalgic nod to the Italian discos of the 1970s, drawing inspiration from the era’s fashion and music. It set the tone for the entire weekend, envisioning sequined dresses, dance floors adorned with pasta, and the shimmering allure of a giant disco ball. Their vision became a spectacular reality.

The day following the wedding featured a delightful brunch meticulously curated by Chef Massimo, followed by an exuberant pool party. Aperol Spritz flowed freely, gelato was savored, a lively sound system kept spirits high, custom swimwear for the bridal party added a unique touch, and Sam received a custom shirt as a thoughtful gift. All of this unfolded against the breathtaking backdrop of the surrounding olive grove.

Their traditional Catholic ceremony took place in Ostuni at Cattedrale Santa Maria Assunta. The choice was deeply significant as Bianca’s family is Catholic, and a cherished family priest journeyed to Italy to officiate the ceremony. It was a blend of grandeur, set within the beautiful Cathedral, and a profound sense of intimacy due to the presence of their priest.

The music that serenaded them during dinner was a delightful fusion of traditional Italian melodies and wanderlust-inspired tunes from their favorite artists, including Lana Del Rey and Frank Ocean. As the evening progressed to the dancefloor, their first dance, set to Jessie Ware’s ‘Champagne Kisses’ and Rihanna’s ‘Love On The Brain,’ marked the beginning of an electric atmosphere. Their playlist spanned from ’90s dance anthems to ’00s pop classics, in line with their love for big, euphoric pop music.

The pièce de résistance was the cherry mille-feuille cake, chosen after they fell in love with it at the tasting. It was a creamy, delicate, and artfully adorned creation by the chef. The cake topper, a 3D figurine of Bianca and Sam crafted in New York, added a fun and deeply personal touch to their celebration.
