Joshua & Cole
Castello Monaci, Puglia
Joshua and Cole’s intimate wedding at Castello Monaci was a deeply personal and visually striking celebration, travelled all the way from the Rhode Island area in the USA to the timeless beauty of Southern Italy. Their day was a masterclass in gothic romance, bold aesthetics, and heartfelt details that reflected their shared artistic spirit, and even the gentle rain outside added to the twilight-like, moody atmosphere of the occasion.
From the very beginning, the tone was unmistakably theirs. Joshua stunned in a dramatic, couture gown, its theatrical silhouette enhanced by deep, moody tones and intricate textures that echoed the couple’s love for gothic elegance. Rich purples and intense reds flowed through every element of the décor, creating an atmosphere that felt both otherworldly and intimate.
Their ceremony and dinner unfolded within the castle’s historic interiors, where a breathtaking round serpentine table was set – lush, sculptural, and designed to immerse guests in the depth of the colour palette. Four extraordinary violinists from 4 Strings performed throughout the evening, their glittering black evening gowns shimmering in candlelight as they played dramatic, emotionally charged renditions that intensified the ambience.
Joshua, an incredible dancer, brought the room to life with unforgettable moments that blended elegance and pure joy – adding a uniquely personal artistic layer to the celebration.
Even the smallest details were infused with meaning and personality. Guests were delighted by signature cocktails inspired by the couple’s beloved dogs, and the wedding cake featured charming 3D figurines of the pups, making the design both whimsical and deeply sentimental.
Joshua and Cole’s wedding was not just a celebration – it was an immersive, emotionally rich experience. A union of gothic beauty, heartfelt storytelling, and the unmistakable charm that only an intimate celebration in an Italian castle can offer.
